CAUSATIVE VERB “HAVE”
Causative “have” is followed by the simple form of a verb, not an infinitive. (causative “have” diikuti oleh verb 1 (tanpa tambahan s/-es), bukan diikuti oleh infinitif (to+verb1)).
Examples:
- I had John repair my bike. (CORRECT)
- I had John to repair my bike. (INCORRECT,because it is followed by an infinitive)
è Kalimat ke 2 salah karena diikuti oleh infinitif (to+verb1)
► “Have” gives the idea that “X” request “Y” to do something. ( “Have” menunjukkan bahwa “X” meminta “Y” untuk melakukan sesuatu.)
è The formula is: “X” has/have/had “Y” do something (simple form) (rumusnya adalah “X” has/have/had “Y” melakukakn sesuatu (verb dalam bentuk sederhana(verb1 tanpa tambahan s/-es)).
Examples: - Mary has John carry her bag.
Means(artinya): John carried the bag because Mary ask him to. ( John membawa tas karena Mary menyuruhnya).
-I have Jane put my books
Means: Jane put my books because I ask her to.
- Tom had Jane clean the room yesterday
è Using “had” because the adverb of time is yesterday. But still the verb is in simple form.
HAVE SOME THING DONE
(HAVE +Past Participle (Verb3)
The past participle(verb 3) is used after “have’ to give a passive meaning.
Examples: - I had my watch repaired (by someone) yesterday.
Means: I caused my watch to be repaired by someone. (saya menyuruh orang lain untuk memperbaiki jam tangan saya kemarin).
-I have my hair cut à means: I asked someone to cut my hair. (saya menyuruh seseorang untuk mencukur rambut saya)
- I am having my car washed at the moment à means: I am asking someone to wash my car at the moment. (pada saat ini saya SEDANG menyuruh seseorang mencuci mobil saya.)
You have to know the different between Have something done and present Perfect/ past perfect form.
HAVE SOMETHING DONE: I have my hair cut à means: I ask someone to cut my hair.
PRESENT PERFECT(S+HAVE/HAS+V3): I have cut my hair àmeans: you cut your own hair.
PATTERNS for HAVE SOMETHING DONE:
· S + HAVE/HAS + OBJECT + VERB 3
· S + HAD + OBJECT +VERB3 +PAST TIME
· S + TOBE (IS/AM/ARE) + HAVING +OBJECT + VERB3 + NOW/RIGHT NOW/ AT THE MOMENT.
CONCLUSION:
- Use active sentence for causative “have” (using simple form of a verb) and passive sentence for have something done (using verb 3).
- For causative “have” à after subject you have to use the right form of “have” whether it is “have or has or had” then the object is people (someone), after that,you have to use a simple form of a verb (verb 1 without s/-es) in any kind of adverb of time (present time or past time still use simple form of a verb), you just choose the right form of “have” à “have or has” for present time, “had “ for past time.
- For have something done just follow the pattern.

Story Of Mr.Brown
Mr.brown loved shooting bear in the jungle, but he has problem with his eyes.
His eyes were not good condition anymore. One day, he went to the jungle with his friends and his friends were always careful.
One day, mr.brown’s friend made a joke, he took a big white paper and wrote big words with big capital. He wrote, “I AM NOT BEAR” and puts it in his back, and then mr.brown and his friend went to the jungle, and suddenly, he shooted his friend. So, his friend was very angry and he said, “didn’t you see it ?” and mr.brown said, “i saw it, but i didn’t see word NOT”.

Story Of The Couple Husband and Wife
There is husband and wife, they mad and didn’t talk eachother,,
One afternoon husband get home from the office, he want to sleep and he want his wife wake him up tommorow at seven o’clock, because he has a meeting in the morning..
Then the husband write a letter to his wife, he said :
“mom wake me up at seven o’clock,
Sender : Father”
In the morning father wake up and see the time, it is nine o’clock and he found a letter from his wife, she said :
“father wake up! It is seven o’clock,
Sender : mother”.

My name uci lestari, I was born from a simple family of the couple is very simple, my father a hard worker he worked as a foreman, hard work and effort should I respect and I'm proud of, my mother a housewife whose job overseeing and keeping children their children properly. I am the first child who has two younger siblings, I have one brother who is now a new high school will occupy the bench and one sister new 2nd class.
I'm from a simple family but my parents have a dream that is high enough for his children, they want their children happy and successful for their hard work and guidance, the ideals of my parents to realize the ideals of her children was very high able at achieve by their efforts that can educate and educate their children to pursue higher degrees makes me so proud to have parents like them. Their efforts make me more and more proud to salute and have my parents.
I'm glad to have a family of simple but fun, I could get together with unity and peace that my family have. According to me, my family is a treasure that I have, I'm proud of the family could live as I have, I feel lucky to have an intact family, I am grateful to have had a family that is simple and sturdy.

“Love The First Sight”
Starting from a farewell my school, before the departure of my high school who carried on in Yogyakarta, my school has rented older mentors who will guide the students during their stay in Yogyakarta, before going all the disciples gathered in the field to adjust the seat and controlled the students so that travel can be implemented smoothly.
After following the directions from the school bus I will begin to climb out of the box, then I and my friends will find a chair that I will sat during the trip, when I sat in a chair near the window of the bus, I saw a man sitting alone on the bus next to the bus which I rode, I think I began to wonder with the figure of a man who looks mature, I began to wonder to myself, "who the man who was sitting alone on the bus??".
Finally leaving any time comes, I'm still thinking about a man, I wish to know him more closely, along the way I think about it and I began to wonder about him to my friends. Turns out he is one of the mentors who will guide me and my friends. I think I started to feel there is a different feeling with him, I feel there is a feeling that more than since I saw it, and I think, "whether it is the name of love at first sight??".
Arriving in Yogyakarta, you ask for help my friends to find out more about him, from the beginning I arrived in Yogyakarta, I often noticed him without his knowledge, from the start its activity until the movements and behavior that is funny, makes me more curious him. I really admired him, a grown man that has put me to sleep my heart.
